The problem is that Tsukiyama suspects him, but there's nothing they can do about it except hope his brother cares about him enough to spare Banjou from the pyre tomorrow.

If Isaac has no opposition, I don't either - though I wonder if we shouldn't be focusing our attention on trying to find the Avenger...I suppose how much of a threat they are to us depends on whether the Avenger believes me or Mr. Tsukiyama.

At the same time, Mr. Fulbright will likely be after either myself or Isaac tonight; if not, then he'll be after Mr. Tsukiyama and he'll know I was making that up entirely.

McDougal-san and Kimblee-san can keep him from having visions about us as we look for another bonded pair to target tonight.

Sure were! [She reaches over to lightly punch Banjou's shoulder.] So that's a huge help. We know exactly who to block and we can branch out a little more safely now.

We need to be careful about who we target tonight. Do you have any ideas, Field-san?

[The Major's sitting on a chair he asked the Gentleman to conjure for him, drinking from a cup of cocoa with heavy cream over it. His eyes scan the room once quickly.]

It's getting harder to contain my laughter through these things, I must admit. Everything's going quite well as the Herr says. I would really like to tip my hat to our Herr Kimblee for waltzing his way through the minefield that way.

[He raises his glass.] With all my heart, it would be such a shame to lose you to the Avenger, but it's a 50-50 shot, now, isn't it, my friend?

I don't have any issue sending Eliot and Parker to Dreamland. However, I would like better options. If they want to vote outside all common sense like that, I say we just let them. Besides Godot or Fulbright, what do you think about Blackquill? The boy is certainly enthusiastic about this. If not, I have one other person in mind that deserves some scrutiny.

Though if you have another suggestion for whom we should hit tonight, Major, I'd certainly like to hear it - who's this other person...?

Though she has been quiet through the duration of the trial, I have my eyes set on Doctor Takano. Her extraordinary zeal has caught my attention in the last couple of days. Perhaps, given the decisiveness with her vote, you could say that she is quite enthusiastic for a mere physician. It remains to be tested.

What do you make of that?
